bbbvbbbPerennial, Blue / lavender flowers.  Also known as as Monk's Beard and Succory.  A very versatile plant, a flower and a Herb.  Most famously used in teas, it has also traditionally been used to flavor coffees as well for a mellow, fuller and sweeter taste, does not contain caffeine.   Medically, Chicory can help with digestive and liver disorders and reduce cholesterol.  Plant seeds 1/4" deep.  Germinates in 7 - 21 days.

Chicory was often used by the Native Americans for cleaning the blood, as a nerve tonic and diuretic. Today it is commonly used to treat loss of appetite and indigestion.
